Leslie Anderson with ensemble member Tai Nixa Peterson as her apprentice has been creating this glorious, colorful, wearable art. The photos speak for themselves.

Leslie is an artist first and foremost. I am deeply fortunate to be working with a person with such training and commitment. Everything she does is viewed through the artistic lens. We learn so much from each other while we make together.

Next month, you will see images of the costumed dancers in the quarry, maybe a clip of what Leslie has captured on camera (yes, she is a videographer as well) and photographs by Julia Barstow.
