February 2026 Update
Photo: Julia Barstow | Graphic Design: Linda Provost
This lead photograph is of the Spotted Forest in September, a setting so mysterious. Today I walked by it, snow on the ground highlighting the lichen spots, white grey brown.
We have been invited to show an aspect of Forest at the Opening Night Celebration of the Green Mountain Film Festival on Friday March 13. Here is a link to the schedule of wonderful films. Meanwhile, the Opening Night is free with a gathering at 5pm in the lobby of Lost Nation Theatre in City Hall, Montpelier. There will be two showings in the theatre of which Forest is the second. Nine tall silk screened tree panels by Andy Wasserman, a film assembled from September ‘25 by Jude Domski, music by Matt LaRocca, and six dancers moving with the Spotted Forest material will give the audience a taste of what's to come. Hope to see you there.
Here is one of Jude’s clips of the Spotted Forest dance from September with Tai in the foreground and Ann in the background.
Here is the link to online giving through Zeffy. 100% of your gift goes to Cradle to Grave Arts. Grants are scarcer than hen’s teeth and highly competitive. You are the supporters of contemporary dance, the ones who know the power of art to change minds, hearts, and thus our society. Thank you.
Gratefully, Hannah
