Early September, 2026 Update

The Washington performances are done, the costumes are airing out, much of the set has been stored, waiting for delivery and installation in Bradford next week. The ensemble is extraordinary and I am honored to be working with them.

The Washington audiences were engaged, delighted and focused. The following are excerpts from some of their writings in the Forest Audience Response Book:

I loved all of the music. There were some instruments that were new sounds to me for your work. It was perfect for each section, complimentary, alive, not intrusive. 

My senses are prickling and I remember to breathe. 

Beauty, grace, bodies in separation and intimacy, humor, nourishing this work.

The narrator had a strong, clear reading voice and presence that supported the wonderfully crafted script. 

Starting September 19th, we will be at the Bradford site for two weekends. Almost all the shows are sold out so we have created a  Wait List for Bradford. Those on the Wait List will be notified of any released tickets, and it will be first come first served. 

If any ticket holder knows they will not be attending, please let Katie know asap so that we can alert the waitlist and fill your slot.  

As I mentioned in my last newsletter, we will be starting each show on time to give the cast and crew time to prepare. So as not to miss the beginning, please get to the site, park your car and sign the waivers no later than 5 minutes before the start time, either 11am or 2:30pm.  The “gate” is open half an hour before showtime.

Print out the directions on your ticket to augment your gps so you don't get lost. Also, read through Know Before You Go and What to Bring on the website to refresh your memory and be prepared.
