Last weekend was our dress rehearsal in the Washington site. We had an audience for each run, enough to test out what it would be like with 30 people in attendance.

The major decision that came out of the weekend was the need to change the start time of the second performance from 2 to 2:30pm to give enough time for those who attended the morning performance to leave before the afternoon performance attendees began arriving.

In our planning, we didn’t factor in the time it took to walk the road back to the parking area. Consequently, there was quite a clog-up at the parking area as people were trying to leave as cars were coming in for the next run. In addition, the ensemble felt rushed and the set up for each performance was hurried.

Thank goodness for dress/tech rehearsals to work out the kinks and make changes as needed.

For those of you with tickets to 2pm shows, you will get a notice of the time change.

All of the Washington performances are sold out as of now. However, unforeseen things come up and people have to cancel. If we get 48hr notice, then we can reach out via email to our newly constructed Wait List. For those of you who want to see the performances in Washington, put your name on the list and if we have space, it will go to the first person to respond to the email notice.

However, the performances in Bradford are not sold out and it is an easy 40 minute drive from Barre, not as far as you think. If your priority is to see the piece no matter where, then I recommend you get a ticket for Bradford. It is a lovely forest.

We have had some very good press in these last weeks. Seven Days, Vermont Arts Council, and the Valley New. My thanks to each of the writers for their thoughtful articles.
